This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through shfunding.com and the public inquiry and broker forms operated by Safe Harbor Funding LLC (“Safe Harbor Funding,” “SHF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). SHF provides business-purpose financing secured by non-owner-occupied real estate.

This policy does not replace any separate privacy notice, loan document, servicing notice, or agreement that may apply to a particular borrower, guarantor, broker, or transaction.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

We may collect information that you voluntarily submit through our website forms, including:

• Name, email address, telephone number, company, and professional information.
• Property address or location, property type, purchase price, estimated value, requested loan amount, financing purpose, transaction timeline, and other deal details.
• Borrower experience, proposed business plan, exit strategy, and information submitted by a broker about a borrower or proposed transaction.
• Any other information you choose to include in a message or inquiry.

Technical information

SHF does not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, call tracking, website chat, appointment-booking tools, or similar analytics or advertising technologies. Our website and email hosting providers may automatically collect standard technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as an IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, date and time of access, and server logs. Technical cookies may be used when necessary to deliver site functionality.

3. How we use information

We may use submitted information to:

• Respond to inquiries and communicate with borrowers, brokers, guarantors, and other authorized parties.
• Evaluate, verify, underwrite, document, close, administer, and service proposed or existing loans.
• Process broker registrations and broker-submitted transactions.

We do not use website inquiries for newsletters, promotional email, or marketing text messages unless the recipient separately requests or agrees to receive those communications.

• Authorized SHF personnel and contractors.

SHF does not sell or rent personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes. SHF also does not present website-submitted transactions to another lender or broker.

Information submitted by brokers

A broker who submits borrower or transaction information represents that the broker is authorized to provide that information. SHF may communicate directly with the borrower and other transaction parties as reasonably necessary to evaluate, document, close, and service the transaction while keeping the submitting broker involved as appropriate.

5. Retention and security

Website inquiries are currently delivered to an SHF Gmail account and are not automatically copied to a separate CRM or lending platform. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for business, legal, compliance, fraud-prevention, transaction, and recordkeeping purposes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including restricted access and multifactor authentication for the inquiry mailbox. No website, email transmission, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Your choices and requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information submitted through the website. We will consider reasonable requests subject to identity verification and any legal, contractual, compliance, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping obligation that requires us to retain the information.
